Bologna Biocomputing Group at the University of Bologna will host the first Italian Bioschemas workshop.
The workshop is part of the Implementation Study for the integration of the Italian Node ELIXIR-IIB into ELIXIR.
The main goals will be to test Bioschemas specifications on actual deployed services, and to provide feedback to Bioschemas from an end-user perspective.
Description
Bioschemas is an effort for defining semantic annotations for the Life sciences domain. Bioschemas specifications include, among others, annotations for repositories, biological entities, tools and samples.
Upon joining ELIXIR, the Italian node ELIXIR-IIB submitted proposals for better integration in the ongoing activities.
One of these activities was Bioschemas, and this workshop is meant to apply Bioschemas specifications to projects developed by the Italian node.
The event is aimed to Italian partner institutions involved in the Implementation Study. Other interested parties can contact us for joining.
