A biological material entity that is representative of a whole. Comments: Typically samples are intended to be representative of the whole or aspects thereof. Examples of samples include biomedical samples (blood, urine) and plant specimens held at herbaria.

Marginality: Minimum.
description	Text	Schema: A description of the item.
identifier	PropertyValue or Text or URL	Schema: The identifier property represents any kind of identifier for any kind of Thing, such as ISBNs, GTIN codes, UUIDs etc. Schema.org provides dedicated properties for representing many of these, either as textual strings or as URL (URI) links. See background notes for more details.
name	Text	Schema: The name of the item.
url	URL	Schema: URL of the item.

additionalProperty	PropertyValue	Schema: A property-value pair representing an additional characteristics of the entitity, e.g. a product feature or another characteristic for which there is no matching property in schema.org. Note: Publishers should be aware that applications designed to use specific schema.org properties (e.g. http://schema.org/width, http://schema.org/color, http://schema.org/gtin13, …) will typically expect such data to be provided using those properties, rather than using the generic property/value mechanism.
associatedDisease	MedicalCondition or PropertyValue or URL	Schema: Disease associated to this BioChemEntity. Such a disease can be a MedicalCondition or a URL. If you want to add an evidence supporting the association, please use PropertyValue.
bioChemInteraction	BioChemEntity	Schema: A BioChemEntity that is know to interact with this item.
bioChemSimilarity	BioChemEntity	Schema: A similar molecular entity, e.g., obtained by fingerprint similarity algorithm.
biogicalRole	DefinedTerm	Schema: A role played by the molecular entity within a biological context.
collector	Organization or Person	Schema: The Person or Organization who collected the Sample.
custodian	Organization or Person	Schema: The Person or Organization who is responsible for the Sample.
dateCreated	Date or DateTime	Schema: The date on which the CreativeWork was created or the item was added to a DataFeed.
gender	GenderType or Text	Schema: Gender of the person. While http://schema.org/Male and http://schema.org/Female may be used, text strings are also acceptable for people who do not identify as a binary gender
hasBioChemEntityPart	BioChemEntity	Schema: Indicates a BioChemEntity that (in some sense) has this BioChemEntity as a part. Inverse property:isPartOfBioChemEntity
hasMolecularFunction	DefinedTerm or PropertyValue or URL	Schema: Molecular function performed by this BioChemEntity; please use PropertyValue if you want to include any evidence.
